A hospital shall demonstrate its capability of providing neonatal care through written standards, protocols, or guidelines, including those for the following: |

A. Resuscitation and stabilization of the neonate according to the current American Academy of Pediatrics/American Heart Association (AAP/AHA) Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) guidelines at every delivery; |

B. Detection, stabilization, and initiation of management of unanticipated neonatal problems; |

C. Evaluation and care of stable term newborn infants. |
