In this chapter, 300-foot setback means an area that is at least 300 feet in width, as measured from the landward boundary of tidal waters or wetlands, that is provided on a growth allocation site in order to provide habitat and stormwater benefits to supplement benefits required in accordance with COMAR 27.01.09.
