A. This chapter governs the practice of physician assistants and the delegation of medical acts by a physician to a physician assistant.
B. This chapter does not prohibit:
(1) A student from performing any of the
procedures described in these regulations as part of an accredited school's
clinical curriculum;
(2) An
individual from practicing a health occupation that the individual is
authorized to practice under Health Occupations Article, Annotated Code of
Maryland; or
(3) A physician
assistant employed by the federal government from performing duties incident to
that employment.
