Section 10.27.03.03 - Board Approval of Nonaccredited Programs

A. A Board-approved nursing education program that is not accredited by a BRNAA shall meet the requirements stated in Regulations .04-.16 of this chapter.

B. In institutions having both a licensed practical nursing education program and a registered nursing education program and when only one of the programs is accredited by a BRNAA:

(1) Except as otherwise provided in Regulation . 18 of this chapter, the Board and the BRNAA shall conduct concurrent visits; and

(2) The program shall submit an addendum to the accredited program's self-study describing the unique components of the nonaccredited program.

C. A program on which the Board has taken action shall be reported to MHEC.
