Section 10.25.13.05 - MHCC Recommendation to the HSCRC; Action by the HSCRC

A. The Maryland Health Care Commission shall:

(1) Determine which applications merit consideration of approval for funding by the Health Services Cost Review Commission; and

(2) For each application recommended for consideration, send to the HSCRC appropriate information that may include the following:
(a) A summary of the review criteria and scoring for each recommended application; and

(b) A recommended priority order for funding.

B. The Health Services Cost Review Commission shall make the final decision on each MHCC-recommended application approved for funding.

C. Any funding approved by the HSCRC shall be implemented through reasonable rate adjustments as determined by the HSCRC.
