Section 10.19.07.02 - Definitions

A. In this chapter, the following terms have the meanings indicated.

B. Terms Defined.

(1) Child Care Product.
(a) "Child care product" means a consumer product intended for use by a child younger than 3 years old, including a:
(i) Baby product;

(ii) Toy; and

(iii) Car seat

(b) "Child care product" does not include a product regulated under Health-General Article, §24-306.1, Annotated Code of Maryland, or COMAR 10.19.08.

(2) "Secretary" means the Secretary of Health and Mental Hygiene.

(3) "TCEP" means an industrial chemical also known as (tris (2-chloroethyl) phosphate).

(4) "TDCPP " means an industrial chemical also known as (tris (1, 3-dichloro-2-propyl) phosphate).
