Section 10.10.09.01 - Qualifications

A. Certified Chemist and Certified Chemical Analyst. An applicant for certified chemist or certified chemical analyst shall:
(1) Hold a
bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in
chemistry, medical technology, biology, physics, pharmacy, pharmacology, or
forensic science;
(2) Have
completed courses in analytical and organic chemistry; and
(3) Have completed a basic training program
for certified chemist or certified chemical analyst as set forth in Regulation
.02 of this chapter.
B. Certified Analyst. An applicant for certified analyst shall:
(1) Possess a high school diploma or its
equivalent;
(2) Have completed a
basic training program for certified analyst as set forth in Regulation .02 of
this chapter; and
(3) Identify in
the application those specific drug-testing procedures for which certification
is being sought and for which training has been received.
