A. The hospice care program shall ensure that emergency services are available 24 hours per day, 7 days a week.
B. Emergency services are to include, at a minimum:
(1) Registered nurse and physician
services;
(2) Palliative
medications; and
(3) Other
services, equipment, and supplies necessary to meet the patient's immediate
needs as directed by the patient's plan of care.
