A. A farm labor contractor may not use, or cause to be used, a vehicle to transport migrant agricultural workers in this State unless the farm labor contractor has purchased an insurance policy in amounts not less than the following:

12 or less passengers More than 12 passengers
Limit for bodily injuries to or death of one person $100,000 $100,000
Limit for bodily injuries to or death of all persons injured or killed in any one accident (subject to a maximum of $100,000 for bodily injuries to or death of one person) $300,000 $500,000
Limit for loss or damage in any one accident to property of others (excluding cargo) $ 50,000 $ 50,000

B. The insurance policy shall be obtained from a company authorized to do business as an insurance company in this State.

C. A certificate of insurance in the required amounts shall be filed with the Commissioner before the issuance of a license.

D. The insurance company which has issued the insurance policy shall notify the Commissioner of the cancellation of the policy at least 30 days before the cancellation.
