A. In this chapter, the following terms have the meanings indicated.
B. Terms Defined.
(1) "Hearing panel" means the Presiding
Officer and other individuals designated by him to hear the case; however, the
decision shall be made by the Presiding Officer.
(2) "Presiding Officer" means the
Commissioner of Financial Regulation or the Deputy Commissioner when acting
pursuant to Financial Institutions Article, §
2-103(e),
Annotated Code of Maryland (Deputy Commissioner to act in case of
vacancy).
