A. Zone 1.

(1) Signs related to any permitted use may not exceed 1 square foot in area except for official State and local government signs needed for identification and direction.

(2) Signs advertising property for sale or rental may be placed only on the property offered.

(3) Public interest events may be advertised with signs not exceeding 6 square feet in area on the property where the event will occur and a display is limited to a 30-day period before the event and shall be removed immediately after the event.

(4) Directional signs not exceeding 1 square foot in area may be used.

(5) Illumination of signs by lights or flashing devices is not permitted.

B. Zone 2: The restrictions of Zone 1 apply.

C. Zone 3. The restrictions of Zone 1 apply except that commercial on-premises signs are permitted and are limited to two signs per establishment, each of which may not exceed 15 square feet in area.
