Section 08.10.01.01 - Reimbursement for Shore Erosion Control Services

A. The Department shall be reimbursed for shore erosion related technical and administrative services provided to a property owner, municipality, county, or other entity.

B. The amount of reimbursement determined to be payable to the Department shall be based on a schedule of assessable charges established by the Department for services rendered in connection with shore erosion control projects.

C. The schedule of charges shall provide a sliding scale for the imposition of charges for full services. The sliding scale shall provide for a maximum rate of 10 percent for projects with construction costs estimated to be $5,000 or lower, and a minimum rate of 3 percent for projects with construction costs of $500,000 or higher.

D. In this regulation, "full services" means services rendered by the Department in all areas of a project, such as project:

(1) Initiation;

(2) Planning;

(3) Funding;

(4) Design;

(5) Construction;

(6) Repayment; and

(7) Performance.

E. The Department may assess an amount less than that established for full services if the actual services rendered are less than 50 percent of full services.
