Chapter 102 - QUALIFICATION AS A FULL-TIME STUDENT

SUMMARY: The Board of Trustees of the Maine State Retirement System is required by statute to adopt such rules as are found necessary for a beneficiary to qualify as a full-time student. This rule describes the circumstances under which a child of a deceased member of the Maine State Retirement System between the ages of 18 and 22 will be considered to be a full-time student and, therefore, eligible to receive survivors benefits payments.
