Chapter 280 - FILING REQUIREMENTS FOR PRESCRIBERS SEEKING CONFIDENTIALITY PROTECTION
Section 590-280-4 - Public Access

A. Information collected, processed and/or analyzed under this rule shall be subject to release to the public or retained as confidential information in accordance with 22 M.R.S.A. §8707 and Code of Maine Rules 90-590, Chapter 120: Release of Information to the Public, unless prohibited by state or federal law.

B. Upon complying with the provisions set forth in Section 4(A) of Chapter 120, a party requesting prescriber data shall be provided by the MHDO a user name and password with a URL address to access and download XML CSV files containing the most current data. After an initial twelve months have elapsed, and for each twelve month period that follows, the requesting party shall complete a web-based registration form to continue to access the prescriber data. Provided the information is accurate and complete, and the requesting party has not violated any MHDO statutes or rules, the MHDO shall provide the requesting party with a new password.
