Section 250-169-G - LEASES

Long term lease:

Motor vehicles that operate under the terms of a long-term lease are the responsibility of the motor carrier. The registrant must indicate whether a vehicle is to be operated under a long-term lease. If the lease status of the vehicle changes, the registrant must notify the IRP Unit within ten (10) days.

Short term lease:

Motor vehicles operating under the terms of a short-term lease are the responsibility of the registrant.
