Section 642-6-4 - INCORPORATION BY REFERENCE

1. The 2015 International Energy Conservation Code, including appendix RA published by the International Code Council, Inc., are hereby adopted and incorporated by reference effective July 1st 2021. Projects approved prior to that date may use the 2009 International Energy Conservation Code as adopted.

2. MUBEC Stretch Code. The 2021 International Energy Conservation Code, including its Appendix CA, CB, CC, RA, RB, RC, published by the International Code Council, Inc. A municipality may, pursuant to 10 M.R.S §9722, elect to adopt the MUBEC stretch code. If a municipality adopts the MUBEC Stretch Code, the provisions of the stretch code are mandatory in that municipality. The provisions of the MUBEC Stretch Code are specified in Section 6.
