Section 148-19-A-19 - DISSOLUTION OF AGENCIES

A. When a child placing PNMI- Child Placing Agency makes the decision to cease operations, the PNMI- Child Placing Agency shall provide for the following:

1 Legal transfer of surrender and release of any child in its custody.

2 Appropriate transfer of responsibility for children in placement.

3 Appropriate transfer or termination of services to all other clients.

4 Storage of records with another licensed child placing PNMI- Child Placing Agency within the state or the Department and for appropriate access to such records with notice to the Department.
