9.1 Screening for CCHD shall be performed by pulse oximetry using equipment approved for neonatal use by the FDA. See (http://www.accessdata.fda.gov/scripts/cdrh/cfdocs/cfpmn/pmn.cfm).
9.2 Screening is performed in the right hand and either foot. Screening can occur concurrently or sequentially.
