Section 144-332-18-4 - PRESUMPTIVE ELIGIBILITY ENROLLMENT PROCESS

Once a qualified hospital has determined an individual is presumptively eligibility for MaineCare coverage, the hospital must complete a MaineCare Hospital Presumptive Eligibility Card (HPE-Card) for the individual. The Provider must provide one copy of the HPE-Card to the individual and must submit a copy of the HPE-Card to the Office for Family Independence within 5 working days from the date of the determination.
