Section 144-253-9 - REIMBURSEMENT

Whenever a physician, hospital, institution or agency furnishes patient or case information requested by the department in accordance with these rules, and the expenses for such activities are not voluntarily absorbed, the department shall reimburse the physician, hospital, institution or agency for reasonable costs, as determined by the advisory body's review and recommendation and provided for by 5 MRSA Section2051, which are incurred in providing this information.
