Section 144-205-5 - GARBAGE AND RUBBISH DISPOSAL

5.A. Containers: Garbage and rubbish shall be kept in durable insect proof containers that do not leak and do not absorb liquids. Plastic bags and wet-strength paper bags may be used to line these containers.
5.A.1. Tight lids: All containers shall be
provided with tight-fitting lids.
5.A.2. Adequate number: There shall be a
sufficient number of containers to hold all of the garbage and rubbish which
accumulates between periods of removal from the premises.
5.B. Garbage disposal: All garbage and rubbish shall be disposed of on a regular basis so as not to create a health hazard.
5.B.1. Approved disposal sites: Where
municipal or private disposal service is not available, the proprietor of any
park shall dispose of the refuse by transportation to a disposal site approved
by local community involved or by the State Solid Waste Program.
