The Department will reimburse participating pharmacies only for drugs that are covered drugs as set forth in Maine Care Benefits Manual, Chapter 101, Chapter II, Section 80, Pharmacy Services, or in Maine State Services Manual, Chapter 104, Section 2, Drugs for the Elderly Benefit. This benefit is the payor of last resort. If the participant has another prescription drug coverage plan, that plan must be billed first.
