This Chapter is authorized and adopted under 38 M.R.S. section 1319-O and section 1319- R(1), and is intended to be consistent with applicable requirements of the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act of 1976 (RCRA), as amended, 42 U.S.C. 6901, et seq. and regulations promulgated by the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) thereunder.
