Section 096-693-7 - Department responsibility

The Department shall develop and administer a training program for underground oil storage facilities that includes an examination to evaluate operator knowledge in each subject area listed under paragraphs 6(A)(1) and 6(B)(1) for Class A and B operators respectively. The Department shall combine the training and examination requirements for Class A and B operators. The Department shall review and authorize written training plans for underground hazardous substance storage facilities, field constructed underground oil storage facilities, or airport hydrant system meeting the requirements in Section 6(A)(2) and 6(B)(2).
