Chapter 3 - CONTINUING EDUCATION FOR PODIATRISTS
Section 396-3-4 - Activities Not Acceptable for Continuing Education Credit

Continuing education credit may NOT be claimed for the following activities:
A. Moderators at seminars. Moderators may not be considered as faculty if their sole function is to introduce speakers and their topics
B. Coffee breaks, social functions, visits to exhibitors or time allotted for administrative, business or practical matters
C. Specialty board or specialty organization preparation, e.g. preparation or sitting for board certification or fellowship status
D. Services related to local, state or national offices in podiatric societies or organizations
E. Services related to councils, committees, task forces, etc. of hospitals or other medical organizations
F. Services to a board of podiatric medical examiners
G. Services to a community, state or national organization as a member for planning for health services
H. Time spent in preparation for lectures or exhibits
