Chapter 50 - MINIMUM STANDARDS OF PRACTICE
Section 302-50-4 - Unprofessional Conduct

A. An auctioneer shall abide by all posted, described or stated terms of sale.

B. An auctioneer shall not practice fraud or deceit in obtaining a license under this chapter.

C. An auctioneer shall not commit any act that constitutes dishonest, fraudulent, deceitful or intentional misrepresentation in the practice of auctioneering.

D. An auctioneer shall not commit any gross negligence, incompetence or misconduct in the practice of auctioneering.

E. An auctioneer shall not act in a manner that is contrary to the best interests of the consignor, the public or the auctioneering profession.

F. An auctioneer shall comply with all federal, state or local laws, rules, regulations or ordinances related to the practice of auctioneering including fair housing and civil rights laws or regulations.
