SUMMARY: This chapter describes the procedure by which complaints and adjudicatory hearings will be handled by the Department. The rules of conduct were drafted in consultation with the Advisory Council described in 32 MRSA143027 ). The following association's codes of ethics were consulted in drafting of the proposed rules of conduct:

American Massage Therapy Association

National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork

The following outlines the enforcement and disciplinary procedures used by the Department.
