Article I - Purpose

The purpose of this rule is to provide uniform requirements respecting variable life insurance sales on a regional basis, establish minimum standards respecting variable life insurance policy formatting, to provide licensing conditions under which agents may be authorized to sell such policies and to set qualifications for insurers seeking authority to market variable life contracts in this state.
