A. Prior to issuance of a final decision, the Board may, either on it own motion, or for good cause shown on motion of the petitioner or the handler, reopen the hearing for the submission of additional evidence. The Presiding Officer shall give written notice of such re-opened hearing to the petitioner and the handler at least 7 days prior to the reopening, by registered mail, and shall give appropriate notice to the public
