Section 001-220-5 - Licensing Requirements

All persons possessing deer must have a license from the Department of Agriculture, Food, and Rural Resources, for deer raised for domestic food purposes, or a license from the Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife for deer kept for any other reasons, except that licensed livestock dealers who hold each individual deer for 24 hours or less do not require a domesticated deer license.
