A. Water treatment plants shall be provided with equipment (including recorders, where applicable) to monitor the water as follows.
1. Plants treating ground water using iron
removal and/or ion exchange softening shall have the capability to monitor and
record free chlorine residual.
2.
Ion exchange plants for nitrate removal shall continuously monitor and record
the treated water nitrate level.
