Section VII-707 - Purpose of the Fund

A. The group homes for recovering substance abusers' program will make available start-up loans of up to $4,000 per applicant group for the following type of expenses:
1. security deposits for rent/lease and
utilities;
2. up to two months rent
for each individual in the group;
3. purchase or rental of household furniture
and equipment such as beds, dressers, dining tables, chairs, lounge furniture,
washer, dryer, range, refrigerator;
4. household amenities (television,
appliances, linens, utensils);
5.
raw food supplies (stables, canned goods, groceries, condiments,
etc.);
6. facility modifications of
non-extensive nature including materials (paint, lumber);
7. local transportation expenses/employment
related but as part of a loan only;
8. employment related clothing (uniform
rental, purchase);
9. bridge loans
for applicants.
