Chapter 9 - Guidelines for Certification of Medication Attendant
Section IX-905 - Applicability

A. These guidelines shall apply only for certification of medication attendants who are:
1. employed in intermediate care facilities
for people with developmental disabilities (ICFs/DD) operated by the Office for
Citizens with Developmental Disabilities;
2. employed in community homes for people
with developmental disabilities and/or small or large intermediate care
facilities for people with developmental disabilities funded through the
Department of Health;
3. employed
in program/agencies, except as prohibited by
§911. B 5, contracting
with the Department of Health for services to people with developmental
disabilities; or
4. employed in
programs supporting individuals licensed in HCBS services.
