A. Exceptions to these Rules and standards governing hospitals are as follows.
1. If a hospital does not provide an optional
service or department, those relating requirements shall not be
applicable.
2. If a hospital is
accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations
or the American Osteopathic Association, the Department shall accept such
accreditation in lieu of its annual on-site re-survey. This accreditation will
be accepted as evidence of satisfactory compliance with all provisions except
those expressed in
§9305. O and P.
