A. The facility may, at its discretion, offer to clients the service of safekeeping of valuable possessions. The facility shall have a written statement of its policy.
1. If the facility offers such a
service, a copy of the written policy and procedures shall be given to a client
at the time of his/her admission.
2. The facility shall give the client a
receipt listing each item that it is holding in trust for the client. The
facility shall maintain a copy of the receipt.
