A. A provider with an opioid treatment program shall:
1. meet the requirements of the protocols
established by OBH/SOTA;
2. update
the Louisiana methadone central registry daily and as needed;
3. upon the death of a client:
a. report the death of a client enrolled in
their clinic to the SOTA within 24 hours of the discovery of the client's
death;
b. report the death of a
client to HSS within 24 hours of discovery if the death is related to program
activity;
c. submit documentation
on the cause and/or circumstances to SOTA and to HSS, if applicable, within 24
hours of the provider's receipt of the documentation; and
d. adhere to all protocols established by LDH
on the death of a client; and
4. conduct at least eight random monthly drug screen tests on each client per year.
