A. Cholecystectomy (Removal of the Gallbladder) with or without Common Bile Duct Exploration
1. pancreatitis (inflammation of the gland
that produces insulin);
2. injury
to the tube (common bile duct) between the liver and the bowel;
3. retained stones in the tube (common bile
duct) between the liver and the bowel;
4. narrowing or obstruction of the tube
(common bile duct) between the liver and the bowel;
5. injury to the bowel and/or intestinal
obstruction.
