A. The board is authorized to issue licenses to approved schools. No school may operate without a license issued by the board. The fee for such license shall be $500 payable at the time the school makes application for a license. The annual renewal fee shall be $300 which shall be due on or before July 1 of each year. Each license for an electrology school in this state shall be renewed on or before July 1 of each year upon application and payment of renewal fee.
