A. A physician who consults and collaborates with a MP should report to the board all instances in which he or she has a good faith reason to believe that the MP has:
1. failed to consult with the primary or
attending physician prior to prescribing medication or making any adjustments
or changes in an established medication regimen;
2. prescribed a narcotic, as defined in
R.S.
40:961;
3. treated any condition, illness or disease
other than management of mental or emotional disorders; or
4. prescribed a course of medication that
resulted in the injury or death of a patient.
