Section XLIX-503 - Pre-Examination Requirements: Conditions Precedent

A. No person shall be admitted to or be permitted to take an examination for licensing as a nursing home administrator unless he shall have first submitted evidence satisfactory to the board that he:
1. is 21 years of age or older;
2. is a citizen of the United States of
America, or that he has formally declared his intention of becoming a citizen
of the United States;
3. has no
convictions for a felony or crimes involving moral turpitude as provided in
R.S.
14:81.2;
4. is physically and mentally suitable and
fit to be licensed and to practice as a nursing home administrator;
and
5. has successfully completed a
bachelors degree from an accredited institute of higher learning.
