Section XI-711 - Duration of Rounds

A. Except with the approval of the commission or its chairman:
1. a non-championship contest or exhibition
of mixed technique events must not exceed three rounds in duration;
2. a championship mixed technique event must
be five rounds in duration;
3. a
period of unarmed combat in any mixed technique event must be 5 minutes in
duration. A period of rest following a period of unarmed combat in a mixed
technique event must be 1 minute in duration.
