A. No contest may be scheduled and no contestants may engage in a boxing contest without the approval of the commission or the commission's representative if the difference in weight between contestants exceed the allowance shown in the following schedule or if a gloves weight is deemed to be insufficient in any manner. Regardless of the weights set forth below all female fighters shall use 10 oz. gloves, unless the bout is a championship event or the commission approves a different glove weight.
