A. In addition to the fees provided by R.S. 37:3516, the following schedule of fees shall be assessed:
1. for licensee or any business
entity employing more than one investigator:
a. |
renewal within 30 days after expiration of license |
$200; |
b. |
late fee |
$ 35; |
c. |
per investigator |
$ 20; |
d. |
transfer of agent |
$ 50; |
2.
for private investigator employed by a company or corporation, or apprentice
investigator:
a. |
annual renewal license fee |
$ 50; |
b. |
replacement fee for a lost, destroyed, or mutilated license |
$ 25; |
c. |
renewal within 30 days after expiration of license |
$ 50; |
d. |
late fee |
$ 35; |
e. |
transfer of agency |
$ 50; |
3.
any individual, partnership or corporation actively operating in the private
investigation business since August 21, 1992 who did not apply to the board for
a license, will be assessed an administrative fee in the amount of the yearly
renewal fee as prescribed by law, per year for each year past November 16,
1992.
