Section V-948 - Effect of a Suspension Order on an Alternative Energy Source Lease [Formerly LAC 43:I.1148]

A. During the time the board, or its authorized representative, evaluates a lessees request for removal of the suspension issued under §946 of this Chapter, the lessee must continue to fulfill its payment obligation until the end of the original term of the AESL. If the board or its authorized representatives evaluation goes beyond the end of the original term of the AESL, the term of the AESL shall be extended for the period of time necessary for the board, or its authorized representative, to complete its evaluation of the removal of suspension request. During this extended period of time, the lessee shall not be required to make payments.
