A. A catastrophe adjuster registration is effective upon submission provided fees are received within ten days. A registration shall be valid for a period not to exceed 180 days.

B. The commissioner may extend the registrations effective period for an additional ninety days upon the receipt of the insurers written request for such an extension. The request must be submitted no later than 15 days prior to the expiration of the registration. The commissioner shall provide his written approval or denial of an extension request.
