Chapter 101 - Regulation 78-Policy Form Filing Requirements
Section XIII-10101 - Purpose

A. The purpose of this regulation is:
1. to provide for the
uniform and practicable administration of the form filing, review and approval
requirements of the Louisiana Insurance Code;
2. to clarify the provisions of R. S.
22:861(B);
3. to protect the
interests of insurance consumers and the public through improvements to the
form filing, review and approval processes; and
4. to assist all insurers doing business in
the state of Louisiana in complying with the form filing, review and approval
requirements of the Louisiana Insurance Code.
