A. A licensee authorized to use radioactive material for uptake, dilution, and excretion studies shall possess a portable radiation detection survey instrument capable of detecting dose rates over the range 0.1 milliroentgen (1.0 [MICRO]Sv) per hour to 50 milliroentgens (500 [MICRO]Sv) per hour. The instrument shall be operable and calibrated in accordance with LAC 33:XV.716.
