A. Vents 1. Carbon dioxide may not be relieved into the atmosphere of a building or other confined space where hazardous levels of carbon dioxide might accumulate above the human exposure level set by the United States Department of Labor, Occupational Safety and Health Administration as depicted in the following table, unless the appropriate respiratory protection is provided.
