Section V-4239 - What records must you keep at your facility and for how long?

A. In addition to those records required by the department, NRC, or other NRC agreement state license, you must keep records as follows.
1.
You must follow the applicable existing recordkeeping requirements under LAC
33:V.1529, 2245, and 4357 to demonstrate that your waste has met LDR treatment
standards prior to your claiming the exemption.
2. You must keep a copy of all notifications
and return receipts required under LAC 33:V.4241 and 4243 for three years after
the exempted waste is sent for disposal.
3. You must keep a copy of all notifications
and return receipts required under LAC 33:V.4237 .A for three years after the
last exempted waste is sent for disposal.
4. You must keep a copy of the notification
and return receipt required under LAC 33:V.4237 .B for three years after the
exempted waste is sent for disposal.
5. If you are not already subject to
equivalent department, NRC, or other NRC agreement state manifest and
transportation regulations for the shipment of your waste, you must also keep
all other documents related to tracking the exempted waste as required under
LAC 33:XV.465, including applicable NARM requirements, in addition to the
records specified in this Section.
