Section IV-1505 - Deadline to Enroll as a Full-Time Student

A. In order to receive a grant under the program, a student must have met the criteria defined in §1503 and, unless granted an exception for cause by the Louisiana Board of Regents (the board), enrolled as a full-time student:
1.
a. not later than the semester or term, excluding
summer semesters or sessions, immediately following the first anniversary of
the date that the student graduated from the Louisiana National Guard's Youth
ChalleNGge Program; or
b. beginning
in the 2020-2021 academic year, not later than the semester or term, excluding
summer semesters or sessions, immediately following the fifth anniversary of
the date the student graduated from the Louisiana National Guards Youth
ChalleNGe Program; or
2.
if the student Joins the United States Armed Forces upon graduation from the
Louisiana National Guard's Youth ChalleNGe Program, not later than the
semester, excluding summer semesters or sessions, immediately following the 5th
anniversary of the date that the student graduated Louisiana National Guard's
Youth ChalleNGe Program or within one year from the date of discharge or one
year from separation from active duty, whichever is earlier.
